We at the Austin Steam Train Association (ASTA) have revamped our membership program and we invite you to join! Members support ASTA’s general fund on a monthly basis and receive special benefits, recognition, and gifts of appreciation. By becoming a member, you directly contribute to essential projects and the continued success of our programs, ensuring that we can serve our community now and for years to come. Your steady monthly donations are crucial in sustaining the organization and helping where we need it the most. Join our

To become a member, please click “Join Membership Program”, select one of the membership levels, and make your first payment! Monthly charges will be initiated on the same day each month starting with the first payment. You will then receive an email with more details about your benefits. ASTA Membership Program FAQs
Can I designate my donations to support specific projects or programs?
While we appreciate your passion for specific projects and programs, the purpose of this membership program is to help sustain the organization long-term which calls for donations to be unrestricted so that we have discretion to use them where they are most needed. If you would like to support a specific project or program, you can make a donation to that project or program’s specific donation form on our website or by mailing us a check and writing the restriction in the memo.
How many people can be included on a membership?
Memberships are limited to one person per membership.
How long do memberships last?
Memberships are valid for 1 year from the date of sign up. For example, if you sign up on January 1, 2025, then your membership is valid until January 1st, 2026. Memberships auto renew each year but you may cancel any time.
I signed up for a recurring donation to ASTA on a different donation form/platform, does that make me a member?
When an individual makes recurring donations to ASTA through platforms or donation forms other than the official ASTA Membership Enrollment Form, they are automatically enrolled into the Brass level of membership. This level provides access to member-only communications but does not include additional benefits. To upgrade membership levels and receive benefits, donors must cancel their original recurring gift and sign up through the ASTA Membership Enrollment Form.
How do I update my credit card?
You may update your credit card by going to our donor portal here and signing into an existing account or by creating a new account using the same name and email address you used when signing up for your membership and updating the credit card saved on your account. You may also update your credit card by contacting us so that we may update it for you over the phone at 512-839-4544. Please email fundraising@austinsteamtrain.org for questions.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
You may change your membership level by going to our donor portal here and signing into an existing account or by creating a new account using the same name and email address you used when signing up for your membership and changing the level of membership saved on your

Can I cancel my membership?
You may cancel your membership at any time by logging into your donor portal here or by contacting us so that we may cancel your membership for you. If you cancel your membership, you will no longer receive benefits. Please call 512-839-4544 or email
